Tasting Notes: Fully golden, this whisky starts very complex with a mixture of metal, flint stone, a slight earthiness and a fruity combination of candied orange skin and a hint of wild strawberry. As expected from the nose it has a very complex palate. This whisky changes from one sip to the next one. Once the fruity components dominate, the next time a dry buttery note with vanilla, lecithin and bitter chocolate is more present. It dries with a dry, woody saltiness, before it turns to a pleasantly creamy, later dry finish.Compared to our Springbank 1969 bottling a completely different whisky.
