Tasting Notes: The nose initially delivers clean "old-style" sherry. The taste is exactly as expected when nosing: heavy sherry, wood, decent smokiness (as if herbs were smoked) & mineral notes. Our panel`s most significant impression was the interaction between sherry-sweetness and woodiness. A rather typical expression of old matured whisky from this still family owned famous Speyside Distillery.
