Tasting Notes: This whisky was finished in a rum cask for over two years in order to find a less aggressive and more polished profile. A reluctant nose at first with decent smokiness, oilyness, herbal notes and some woody tannins. Warm & full bodied when tasted neat with more and more typical flavours of this distillery`s make coming through: green peppers with brown sugar, dark chocolade with pepper or chilli, combined with a present rum-like sweetness.
